Eulada ("we," "us," or "our") is a SaaS reviews platform operated by Nicolette Covey, based in Whitefish, Montana, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website (eulada.com) and the Eulada platform (the "Service").
2. What Data We Collect
We collect different types of data depending on who you are:
From Merchants (Our Customers)
- Account information: name, email address, business name, BigCommerce store URL
- Billing information: payment details processed through Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Usage data: dashboard activity, feature usage, login history
- Support communications: emails or messages you send us
From End Customers (Shoppers Who Leave Reviews)
- Review content: name, email address, review text, star ratings
- Photos: images uploaded with reviews
- Product data: which product the review is associated with (synced from BigCommerce)
End-customer data is collected on behalf of our merchant customers. Merchants are the data controllers for their customers' review data; Eulada acts as a data processor.
Automatically Collected
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system
- Usage analytics: pages visited, time on site, referral source

We do not sell your data to third parties. Period.
4. AI Processing
Eulada uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to provide features like spam moderation, sentiment analysis, review summaries, and auto-response suggestions. When AI features are used:
- Review text and associated metadata are sent to Anthropic's API for processing
- Anthropic does not use this data to train their models (per their commercial API terms)
- AI outputs are used solely within the Eulada platform for your benefit
- No personal data is stored by Anthropic beyond the time needed to process the request
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform:
- Anthropic (Claude API) -- AI processing for review moderation and insights
- Stripe -- payment processing and billing
- DigitalOcean -- cloud hosting infrastructure (servers located in the USA)
- BigCommerce -- product catalog sync and storefront integration
We may also disclose data if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights and safety.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies:
- Session cookies: to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These expire when you close your browser or after a reasonable period.
- Security cookies: to prevent cross-site request forgery and protect your account.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or cross-site tracking.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and the Service is in use.
- After account closure: Your data is retained for 30 days to allow for export or account reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Billing records: We retain billing transaction records as required by tax and accounting laws.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion, after which they are purged.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication for all systems
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
- Secure credential storage (we never store plaintext passwords)
No system is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly.
